Comprehensive Summary

This research explored cross sectional online surveys on registered nurses to investigate the factors which influences the nurses intentions on incorporating AI into their clinical practices. The research surveyed 312 participants/nurses in Quebec, which revealed data based on the nurse’s trust, familiarity, and willingness to adopt AI into their practices. The research displayed positive opinions and views of the integration of AI and their familiarity, in addition to a 65% variance in utilizing AI as a supportive work condition. The positive reflection and perception of AI is emphasized in order to facilitate the adoption of AI in clinical practices for nurses.

Outcomes and Implications

As acceptance of technological advancement such as AI directly impacts the integration of such technologies to clinical fields, the research underscores such understanding of the nurse’s perception towards it. Such adoption may be accelerated through the enhancement of familiarity and trust of such advancements, improving workplace environments, patient monitoring, and supporting clinical decisions, while decreasing individual workload. The research’s findings suggested that Ai has the potential to be integrated effectively to the healthcare setting through training and organizational support, within the following years, providing a more efficient and safer patient care network.
